Van Gogh sought to render his emotional and spiritual condition in each of his works. His entire life was full of suffering. Every picture is a straightforward representation of how the artist saw each scene, interpreting it with his eyes, mind and heart. Van Gogh’s explosive temper became synonymous with a romantic image of an unappreciated genius.
The paintings of the great artist are stored in many galleries and private collections all over the world: in the Netherlands, France, America, Russia etc. To show them in one exhibition is almost an impossible challenge. Being Van Gogh invites the viewer to get up-close-and-personal with over 300 images of Van Gogh paintings, sketches and documentary photos, in this uniquely immersive show of impressionism. Cygnus Electric Swan Ensemble

CYGNUS is a poetic live installation on the water. 15 artificial swans come together for a mesmerising water ballet of light and sound. The swans move across the water with electric thrusters and can turn their heads. On the inside of each translucent swan, LEDs illuminate the body and create the magical appearance of the birds. A sound system within their bodies lets them create an etheral soundscape. Lights, sounds and movement of the swan ensemble are synchronised and their positions are controlled via a high precision GPS-system. They are equipped with enough power to perform their water dance for up to 7 hours.
During daytime the installation takes its strength from the surprise effect. The artificial swans are virtually impossible to distinguish from a real bird at a distance of over 10 metres. They blend into any natural habitat.
The surprise is breathtaking, when they suddenly start to come together and move to perform their perfectly synchronised water ballet. At night the performance develops a totally different charcater.
The changing lights along with the hypnotic soundscape lets the swans become etheral, ghostly figures of detached beauty ands elegance.
CYGNUS had its premiere at LILU – Festival of Lights Lucerne where it attracted more than 60.000 fascinated viewers in 10 days. Every pond, every lake and even sea water is a stage for the ELECTRIC SWAN ENSEMBLE.
Also available as CYGNUS LIVE, whereby the swans interact musically and visually with a live trio of classical instruments (flute, clarinet and harp) performing works of nature, water and of course swans.

Titanic – Artifacts & Images from a Legend

Titanic exhibitions are nothing new and in fact, continue to tour the world attracting millions of visitors who are still captivated by this enigmatic story. However, these exhibitions require significant funding, complex logistics and a small army of staff to build and maintain what is undoubtedly, a huge undertaking.
Packing the same punch, ‘Titanic – Artifacts & Images from a Legend’ is something the museum & entertainment industry has been waiting for, a ‘C Sector’ Titanic exhibition!
Based on the best selling book of the same name by world renowned maritime historian, Daniel Klistor, this gallery style exhibition takes the visitor on a journey back in time, through the eyes of those who were there, including Harland & Wolff’s professional photographer, Robert Welch, period press photographers & passengers on board Titanic and the rescue ship, Carpathia. More than 60 period photographs are displayed, using the finest quality, free standing double sided ‘Aero’ banner systems, all of which are numbered and set out to guide the visitor through the immersive story of Titanic; from conception to her tragic demise.
29 of these ‘Aero’ banners are 2m high & 2m wide, offering large images, printed to the highest quality specifications available. There are two further banners, which are twice the size, giving a more panoramic view of the ship and her interiors.
TipLargeImageHowever, one of the highlights of the exhibition is the central display of four interconnected ‘Aero’ banners which offer a huge, 8 metre image of Titanic on one side and a stunning cutaway painting of the ship on the other, by internationally renowned artist and Titanic expert, Ken Marschall.
The images are just part of this “must see” exhibition. Alongside many of the banners are cabinets containing over 120 genuine artifacts from Titanic and her identical twin sister ship, Olympic. Like the banners, they are illuminated by a custom made lighting system.
These rare and often unique artefacts bring the photographs to life, imaging what the visitor sees in the picture:

Brick History

Brick History is a whistle-stop tour of the last 13.8 billion years, from the Big Bang all the way to the modern day (though truth be told, we don’t include much from the first 13 billion!). LEGO® bricks are used to recreate some of the most iconic moments in time, whether they are changes in the way we look at ourselves or changes in the natural world
In Brick History, we’ve identified about 40 key moments in our history. We begin with the start of everything—the Big Bang. Then we move on through to pre-history and the dawn of civilization. In the first chapter, we also look at the explosion of trade, the increase in knowledge, and the start of modern politics.
Using LEGO® bricks, stunning historic scenes are recreated, from the beginning of life in the pre-historic era right through to the inauguration of Barack Obama. Brick History is a celebration of humanity and its achievements, and of moments in time that changed the course of history.
• Prehistory and the Birth of Civilization – dinosaur extinction, Lascaux cave paintings and the construction of Terracotta Army.
• Renaissance and the Age of Empire – Mozart’s composition of The Magic Flute and the Smallpox vaccine.
• 19th Century – the construction of the first cast iron bridge and the onset of the Industrial Revolution and Alexander Graham Bell’s invention of the telephone.
